There are many applications and processes where the media being conveyed is corrosive. These include, among others, acids, bases and other chemicals.
Diaphragm valves are the ideal solution for corrosive applications. The valves can be lined with chemically compatible materials and the diaphragm can be selected so to be chemically compatible with the media being conveyed. All other parts of the valve are fully isolated from the media. Further, the valve can be designed to be fully sealed and therefore prevents vapor leakage as well. Diaphragm valves are easy to maintain in line making them ideal for these applications.
